At Barrhaven Source for Sports we deal with a lot of great people who do a lot of great things. They inspire us to keep our products top notch. Check out their stories and maybe you can be inspired too.

Gloucester Hornets Soccer

The Ottawa Gloucester Hornets were formed in 1973 and provide soccer opportunities for competitive youth and adults in East Ottawa. The Hornets are a founding member of the Ottawa Gloucester Soccer Club.

Myers AAA hockey association

Myers Riders Football

The Myers Riders Football Club was established in 1974 as a result of the merger of two other organizations; namely, the Queensway Titans and the South West Vikings. The newly formed Riders adopted the colours of their namesakes, the Ottawa Rough Riders: black, red and white.

Bishop’s University Football

The Bishop’s Gaiters is a men’s and women’s athletic teams that represent Bishop’s University in Sherbrooke, Quebec, Canada.

Ottawa Axemen Lacrosse

The Quebec Senior Lacrosse League (QSLL) is a senior B box lacrosse league based in Quebec. The league also includes a team based in Ottawa. QSLL is sanctioned by the Fédération de crosse du Québec.

North Dundas Minor Hockey Association

Ottawa Champions

The Ottawa Champions Baseball Club is a professional baseball team based in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. The Champions made their debut as a member of the Canadian American Association of Professional Baseball in 2015.

Bytown Blues Rugby

Formed after the end of the 1971 season, the Bytown Blues Rugby Football Club have been representing the rugby community proudly over the past 42 years, on and off the pitch.

Nepean Mixed Slo-Pitch

The Barrhaven Mixed Slo-Pitch League is a casual adult baseball league that operates in Ottawa, Ontario Canada.

Nepean Knights Minor Lacrosse Association

The Nepean Knights Lacrosse Association (NKMLA) provides youth in western Ottawa with the opportunity to play box lacrosse. The mission of the NKMLA is to provide a minor box lacrosse program for youth (boys and girls) aged 4 to 20 living in western Ottawa and the surrounding area. NKMLA promotes the sport of lacrosse in Ottawa and the surrounding area.

Ottawa South United Soccer Club

Ottawa South United (OSU) is a soccer club based in Canada’s capital, Ottawa. With some 6300 members it is the largest as well as one the most successful soccer clubs in Ottawa and the Province of Ontario. OSU was created in January 2003 through the merger of the historic clubs of South Nepean United (SNU) and Osgoode Rideau Soccer Association (ORSA).

Carleton University Ravens

Competitive Sport Clubs at Carleton University are student sport organizations that have been formed by Carleton students who are motivated by a common interest and desire to participate in a particular sport.

Nepean Eagles

The Nepean Eagles Club continues to promote health, discipline and sportsmanship across all levels of play and remains committed to promoting the sport of football in the South Nepean area. The Club currently consists of five levels of play: Tyke through Midget. The Club plays at its new home field at South Nepean Park.

Nepean Raiders Hockey Association

The Nepean Raiders are a Canadian Junior ice hockey team from Nepean, Ontario, Canada. They are a part of the Central Canada Hockey League. The objective of the Association is to foster and encourage the sport of minor hockey throughout the former City of Nepean (now Ottawa).

Ottawa Sooners Football Club

The Sooners are now the only junior football club in Ottawa. The Sooners play home games at Keith Harris Stadium located on the campus of Carleton University, but previously played at the Nepean Sportsplex.

Ottawa Ukraina Royals Soccer Club

This club exists to unite Ukrainian Canadians through the sport of soccer. This Club has a strict policy, that every single player who plays for this team MUST have Ukrainian heritage in some capacity. We’re a Ukrainian Club, for Ukrainians.

Nepean Blue Devils Basketball

The Nepean Blue Devils Basketball Association (NBBA) is a not-for-profit sports organization which offers boys and girls aged 6 through 18, an opportunity to participate and enjoy the game of basketball.

Nepean Ravens Ringette

The NRA began over 20 years ago to administer and promote the sport of ringette. It has grown steadily from an organization of 50 players to an association of over 300 players on 21 teams

Metcalfe Hornets Ringette

The Metcalfe and District Ringette Association includes 9 teams and a Bunnies learn-to-skate program in Metcalfe and Osgoode, Ontario.

Barrhaven Run for Roger’s House

Barrhaven Run’s strong family and fundraising culture combined with the Manotick Miler’s growing participant base will create an improved experience for all participants while aiming to increase the awareness and funds raised for Roger Neilson House.
